I used to listen to Romie quite a bit back in the day. One of the more amazing radio interviews I ever heard was when Rome had Evel Knievel on his program.

Beeg! You are so dead-on with your replies! I actually listened to that interview, which I believe was in 2004. It was a great interview, Romie can bring anyone out into the open!
ReplyDeleteKnievel was one rough dude back in the day, because he was the pioneer of these types of feats! Jumpimg buses, fountains, canyons...dude took a lot of heat, because there was no one else out there daring to do the things he was trying!
I have always had a great respect for Evel Knievel, he tried the crazy things that no one else would! Dude had solid stones!
